Sousse

Because of its history, Tunisia is a melting-pot of clothing and textiles traditions. ESMOD Tunis and ESMOD Sousse draw upon this tradition whilst attempting to modernise it. What we see in Tunisia therefore is a genuine fusion of styles. Students’ creations show an urban learning in their work with natural and technical fibres, whilst holding on to the tribal components that have been passed down by their culture. Accessorising looks (jewellery, bags, etc.) also plays an important role in their creative process. Both schools also show strong skills in Lingerie and Knitwear.
