RECOGNITION OF QUALIFICATIONS: EUROPASS
Included in the certification supplement, any student who has been awarded the Certified Level 6 Fashion Designer qualification benefits from the EUROPASS Skills Portfolio.
Europass is a system designed by European countries and recognised by 33 countries. It gives a better understanding of skills and qualifications acquired during schooling at ESMOD and makes them more readable, especially for recruiters and companies.
RECOGNITION PROCEDURE FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE ALREADY STUDIED INTERNATIONALLY
Validation and Guidance Committee (CVO – Commission de Validation et d’Orientation):
This Committee provides the guarantee that studies carried out abroad can receive recognition. In addition to the administrative and educational aspects of ECTS through examination of the candidates’ application files and their transcripts, the academic coordinators check that all or part of these courses have been followed and validated and, accordingly, award the number of credits sufficient to enable the students to go directly into the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th year.
In addition, the Validation and Guidance Committee is responsible for various tasks, including:
– The selection of direct entry candidates,
– The selection of international mobility candidates,
– Deciding on disputed cases or appeals,
– Etc.
